The YVR Medical Clinic is a walk-in clinic serving Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. Every day, 24,000 YVR employees help more than 100,000 passengers transit through North America’s top-rated airport. Our job is to provide this dynamic community with access to convenient, high-quality primary care and occupational health services. If you’re sick or injured, need pre-employment or Fit-To-Fly travel clearance, prescription meds, a specialist referral or simply need to see a family doctor, we can help.

Airport Medical Services
At the YVR Medical Clinic, we provide primary care, traveller clearances under our Fit-to-Fly program, and a wide variety of occupational health services. We welcome walk-in patients, but you can also book an appointment in advance by calling us at 604.207.6900.
Please note there is a fee for missed appointments, so call ahead if you wish to cancel. There are also fees for work notes, forms, and other uninsured services. We accept out-of-province and out-of-country patients.
We are also a teaching clinic for medical students attending the University of British Columbia, so you may interact with student interns during your visit.
YVR Medical Clinic offers the following services:

Patient Billing and Documentation Policy
All patients must present a valid Canadian Provincial Healthcare Card at check-in. If you do not have a valid Canadian Healthcare card, please be advised that medical fees apply at the time of service for the following patient groups:
- Residents of Quebec
- Patients with no provincial healthcare coverage (No MSP or no active Canadian provincial card)
- Visitors from outside of Canada
Additional costs may apply depending on the specific treatments, forms, note, or services provided.
